9th ANNUAL PAUL SALFI MEMORIAL-BULLDOG ALUMNI GOLF TOURNAMENT

The ninth annual Paul Salfi Memorial Golf tournament will be held on Saturday June 25th, 2011 at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club. We hope you make plans to attend this year for a great day of golf, followed by a delicious steak dinner at Cat’s Caboose – all for a great cause!  This year the proceeds will be go towards purchasing more football equipment.  The goal is to have 80 players dressed in proper equipment this fall at SWC as the junior program continues to evolve. 

All eight tournaments have been a great success and a lot of fun as over 100 alumni and friends of Bulldog Football gather for a great day.  The Bulldog football teams have benefited as the Alumni Association has purchased high quality equipment for the football program.  Many of you have seen the new Alumni Scoreboard and all agree that it is sensational.  Past purchases include a one-man blocking sled, a “quick-feet” rope apparatus, some blocking bags, home and away game jersey’s, two tackling/blocking dummies and a Focus Neuromuscular Stimulator machine for a former player, Greg Pickles.  In 2004, Greg severed the brachial plexus nerve in his neck while making a tackle on a kick-off and he has spent countless hours trying to regain some of the use of his right arm. 

If you can participate in this years’ tournament, please reserve your place by returning the registration form immediately. Each year the tournament fills up quickly as former players and friends from all eras come out for a great day.  Please help by putting together your foursomes and signing up quickly.   The cost is $145.

11:30 am - Pre-tournament BBQ lunch on the patio at Pen Lakes.
12:30 pm - Shotgun start
 6:00 pm - Cocktails & appetizers @ Cat's Caboose
 7:00 pm - Dinner & reception @ Cat’s Caboose
